I’m not receiving my 2FA code to my email or phone

Don’t panic yet! It may take a couple of minutes to receive the code. If you don’t see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder as well. 😌

The first code is sent upon login and be sure to not click “Resend Code” if you haven’t received the first code yet. Sometimes it can take a few moments before being sent! We recommend doing so only after you’ve waited 10 minutes for the first code to expire. Resending a new code will overlap with the first code rendering both codes unable to be used. You might get an error like "Oops! Something when wrong" or "Invalid code"


How 2FA works:

When you signed up for a Bitski wallet, you were prompted to use a phone based 2FA method. If you skipped this step, but still have 2FA enabled, there will be a 2FA code sent to the email address tied to your account. You can adjust these settings in https://user.bitski.com/settings 


When in doubt, follow these steps: 

1. Send the first 2FA code

2. Try to enter it; if no code appears, wait 10 minutes

3. Try the 2FA process again

A little bit of patience goes a long way! 

Please note, if your account has been flagged for security reasons, you will not be able to receive 2FA log in codes. If you think this is not the case for you, don’t hesitate to reach out at support@bitski.com for more help.
